Sailor stripes!

I have always been a lover of nautical themed fashion. From Fred perry, to Caroline James to the online fashion shop bohoo.com all following the nautical trend. Even though this sailor look links to the brighter days of summer, in fact this look can be carried on throughout those autumn months. Stripes are key to pulling off this sweet sea look. From pin stripes to thick stripes to the navy stripes you can truly find any that fit for you! I find that the nautical style  is topped off with some beautiful gold patterned buttons, in the vintage style they go beautifully! If you want to go even more upcycled chic then add a thin rope belt around the waist or stomach... Go on go to the beach, it's a good excuse to find one! The colours that fit in perfectly with this nautical style are red, white, black and navy! From the luscious dark blue to match the colour of the ocean to the pure white which can be found in the form of sand on Caribbean beaches. Absolutely lovely! Now my personal favourite of this whole look is the feature of the symbol of the anchor! I am such a huge fan of anchors and really feel they add something so magnificent to this kind of outfit... It really does get an ahoy from modo vitale!
